In addition to its completed projects, TRI has many projects in various stages of development.

An overview of just a few provides a glimpse into the wide range of benefits from bio-based energy currently available to various clients:

  • Flambeau River Biofuels, Park Falls, WI
The Flambeau River Biofuels project has been awarded a$30 million grant by the DOE as a demonstration biorefinery. The project, which is currently in engineering design will gasify 1000 dry tons per day of woody biomass, utilizing TRI technology, to produce renewable hydrocarbon fuels, electricity and steam for the host paper mill.
  • NewPage Corporation, Wisconsin Rapids, WI
This project has been awarded a grant of $30 million by the DOE as a demonstration biorefinery. The NewPage project, which is currently in engineering design, will gasify 500 dry tons per day of woody biomass, utilizing TRI technology to produce renewable hydrocarbon fuels, as well as tail gas, steam, and hot water to be used by the host paper mill.

With TRI, these companies are intelligently seeking the best bio-energy pathway to reduce costs, displace fossil fuels, reduce emissions and increase revenues and profits.

Let us help you find your best pathway to the benefits of the bio-future.
